Hi, I'm Claire Kuwana.
I am a student at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism with a double major in journalism and economics.
I am a curious and dynamic learner, highly skilled in communication and content creation. Passionate about media, I have experience both reporting on and podcasting about sports, among other things. My attention to detail and adaptability have allowed me to excel in digital marketing, copywriting and research positions, working on social media and website engagement.

I am the co-president of Northwestern's chapter of the Association for Woman in Sports Media.

I love attending football games and have covered multiple Northwestern wins -- including the 2020 upset over Wisconsin.

I was a Peer Adviser, meaning I mentored a group of first-year students and helped facilitate orientation.

I love participating in Northwestern University's Dance Marathon, which raises over $1 million for two beneficiaries each year.

Outside of school, my favorite activity is skiing. I love to ski in Vermont, and just last year went out West for the first time.

My college basketball team has always been the Kansas Jayhawks. Sorry, Northwestern.

I love to be active and participated in the Chicago Spring Half-Marathon during my first year at Northwestern.

Growing up near Washington, D.C., I am politically active and passionate about social justice issues.
